Oyster Plate Class Workshop
A hands-on pottery workshop with Pottery With a Purpose. Make your own oyster plate, with a half dozen Summer Shack oysters to snack on while you work. Wednesday, September 16, 6:30 to 9 PM.
- Oysters: a half dozen Summer Shack oysters to snack on while you make your oyster plate
- Ceramic glaze painting: choose from a selection of ceramic glazes and personalize your plate with a pop of color
- Hands-on instruction: a relaxed pottery workshop guided by an experienced host
- Pottery 101: foundational hand-building techniques like pinch pots and coils, plus fun touches like handles or texture
- All supplies provided: clay, tools and materials
- Glazing, kiln firing and shipping: two professional kiln firings plus glazing for one piece (upgrade available for additional pieces), white or clear ceramic glaze, and your choice of pickup or shipping
- Beginner-friendly vibes: laid-back, no-pressure energy for first-timers, solo guests and friend groups
