Summer Shack is now the exclusive caterer on both Spectacle & Georges Islands in the Boston Harbor Islands. Arriving at Spectacle or Georges Island after a short ferry ride is like stepping off into another world.
SpectacleIsland, visible from Boston, includes two sandy beaches, a visitor center with a broad wrap-around porch and a large tented area where you can watch a spectacular sunset over Boston's skyline. GeorgesIsland, home of FortWarren, features a grassy parade ground, a new visitor center facility and a large tented area.
In addition to Spectacle & Georges Islands, Peddocks Island is re-opening to the public this year.It has open spaces, a small Welcome Center and limited amenities.
